I went here outside gibralter market & forest city surplus. They have great fries and they did not skimp on the portion size! A large was enogh to make me, my wife and our toddler happy! Served hot out of the fryer we all loved them. I wonder if they use fryer oil just for fries, maybe beef fat? View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Di's Fries:
completely unprofessional staff. interior of this truck does not look as tho it sees regular cleaning. Gravy is canned and boiled to a temperature that would give freshly erupting lava a run for top dog. Not a good street vendor experience for us. View all feedback.
I wish I could give it zero stars. Owner is rude and seems very sketched. You wouldn't go back when you paid me.
I visited a food truck at the Glencoe Fair on September 24th. The food was good, but the customer service was terrible. It seemed like the workers didn't want to take my order, and when they finally did, they didn't seem to listen to it. I was told to wait at the BBQ for my food, where I found what I assume was the owner busy on their phone, ignoring me while they handled emails for other fairs. They finally gave me my hot dogs on a napkin on the hot BBQ. There were no apologies or explanations during this entire experience.
The staff at this restaurant is completely unprofessional. The interior of the truck does not appear to be regularly cleaned. The gravy is expertly cooked and served at a temperature that rivals fresh erupting lava. Overall, we did not have a good experience with the street sales.
Rainy's wet little cool, so when my son and I took poutins from this truck, they were good. It is not cured, it was shrunk Mozzarella. If you agree, it's good.
Di's is hands down the best! I absolutely love their fries, the prices are amazing, and their poutine is also top-notch. It's a fantastic spot for events too.
