What Kari Tromp doesn't like about Bourbon Street - Cajun & Creole Kitchen:
Two for dinner at 530pm on a Thursday night. First ones in the restaurant, followed by 8 other tables by 630pm. One waiter covering the room. Scallop gazpacho was a salad, not a soup. Scallops we're chilled flavourless balls. Corn fritters were excellent. Atmosphere was very nice and the staff attentive, helpful and welcoming. I found the ceviche appetizer a bit odd and not as flavourful as I would have liked. The fried oysters were very nice; love oysters... The clam strips had a bit of a bitter taste in the but they were nicely tender. The jambalaya was tasty. View all feedback.

I have visited this restaurant several times and the food is incredible. My favorite dish to order is the jambalaya, which is absolutely unbelievable.

I love this place, The food is good and if you go on a Monday or Tuesday it is very quiet and you can have a nice romantic date while getting good service.
