The restaurant is always welcoming, laid-back, and enjoyable. The food is delicious, especially the weekend brunch which is perfect for families despite being a pub. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good brunch or lunch in Wimbledon. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Old Frizzle:
bad service, although I understand that it was not the fault of the waitress when she managed the entire escap. the food was tasteless and soggy in the heavy, which was split and watery. View all feedback.
The most beautiful restaurant in which I was already one! beautiful staff, amazing eating served in perfect portion size, and the best tasting fresh orange juice I ever had.
Enjoyed our first Sunday roast here since arriving in England from the US. I thought it was great. Veggies were great. Meat was tender. Gravy had great flavor. The staff is very nice and we loved the atmosphere
We went here this evening for their weekly quiz. The quiz was very good I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate in there before the quiz started as well. Food was good but the only thing that lets it down is that there is not very much choice on the menu. Toilets were very good and well kept. Very welcoming staff as well. Will definitely go back.
The Old Frizzle is a recent addition to Wimbledon, part of a chain with several pubs across South West London. When I first saw the building, which used to be a Walkabout, I was hesitant about trying the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse and affordable menu. I enjoyed a pot-roasted chicken breast with Imam Bayildi (though more like ratatouille) and rice, while my friend had a satisfying cheeseburger with hot chips. We skipped dessert, as the options didn't appeal to us, but I would return to try the crumb with cornflake ice cream. Overall, I would definitely go back to The Old Frizzle, as it is a welcome addition to the culinary scene in Wimbledon.
