What VictoriaR doesn't like about The Carpenter's Arms:
The Carpenters Arms has gone rapidly downhill over the last couple of months. The choice of food is now very limited and the quality not nearly as good as it used to be, service is ridiculously slow and generally inept, the management appears to have lost interest entirely and the gastro pub dining experience has been completely ruined by the place becoming a pub where large numbers of drinkers come for loud and nois... Lovely experience with my partner on a visit across London. Got a very cheeky pint served by a very pleasant young blonde chap. Beautiful customer service from another young man who was our waiter and attended to all our needs. I will be back View all feedback.

read moreThe low-room, situated in a quiet residential area near the vibrant king street, offers a charming atmosphere with its wooden floors and tables, as well as a varied selection of lighting options. The menu, while somewhat limited, offers decent food at a slightly higher price point. Service is friendly, although some customers found the wine prices to be too steep. However, one reviewer described their experience as one of the worst meals they've ever had, criticizing the quality of the food and service. On the other hand, other customers have praised The Carpenters Arms for their exceptional food, service, and atmosphere, with one reviewer even hosting a successful birthday party there. The staff are highly praised for their attentiveness and honesty, with particular mention of a staff member named Rachel. The recent changes in management have garnered positive reviews, with guests enjoying the cozy ambiance and delicious food offerings. Overall, The Carpenters Arms seems to be a mixed bag, with some customers having a delightful experience while others were left disappointed. However, the beautiful garden and relaxing atmosphere make it a recommended spot for a pleasant evening out.
