Lovely experience with my partner on a visit across London. Got a very cheeky pint served by a very pleasant young blonde chap. Beautiful customer service from another young man who was our waiter and attended to all our needs. I will be back View all feedback.
What VictoriaR doesn't like about The Carpenter's Arms:
The Carpenters Arms has gone rapidly downhill over the last couple of months. The choice of food is now very limited and the quality not nearly as good as it used to be, service is ridiculously slow and generally inept, the management appears to have lost interest entirely and the gastro pub dining experience has been completely ruined by the place becoming a pub where large numbers of drinkers come for loud and nois... We love this place, it is our local pub for eating and drinking. eating is always great, the paella is alway a fave. expect them to do £25-£40 per head for eating of them 2 or 3 courses, but always worth it.
The low-room is located in a quiet residential street from the lively king street. it has wooden floors, bare wooden tables and quite bright lighting from a sortiment of chandeliers and side lights, some fitting, some not. window frames are painted
What a hidden jewel. Beautiful staff beautiful hidden garden. A must for a pint or two. Thank you.
Had a fabulous meal on Friday night: beautifully cooked castle briand, hand-cut chips also cooked brilliantly, winter vegetables and an excellent dessert. Beautiful ambience and great service. Very recommended
Amazing atmosphere, extremely friendly staff that they told us little about the history of this pub, which was super interesting. Nice to see employees who really work with the place they work on. They showed us old pictures, how this pub looked before and how it changed at that time. Amazing additional entertainment.
