Egg and herring sandwich is simple and delicious. Cinnamon buns are lovely and not overly sweet unlike the American type cinnamon buns. Also enjoyed the Karelian pie with egg butter although I wished it could be served warm. View all feedback.
What Tana K doesn't like about Nordic Bakery:
Poor customer service. Total rip off. They have a loyalty card scheme. But if you buy 3 coffees you end up with only 1 stamp as it's per transaction. If i knew i would have deliberately bought the coffees one at a time View all feedback.

Supreme Nordic baked goods. The cinnamon buns are a must have. We got a couple of specials during the recent bun week. The dough is soft and beautiful. Great spices. Delicious. Also thoroughly recommend getting their recipe book, it hasn't let me down yet.
The place is small but pleasant. There weren't too many options which is why I didn't give it four stars. The staff seemed friendly. I had the hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun. The bun was surprisingly warm and was great for the cold weather, although I found it a little bit too dense and couldn't finish it. I will hopefully come here again to try more selections to give this a better review.
Very good coffee shop and bakery tucked behind Piccadilly Circus. I have visited many times and the baked goods are always very good. Of particular note are the cinnamon buns, oven pancake and the raspberry and blueberry oatbake. Recently they have started using coffee from the Department of coffee and social affairs, which is some of the best in London. Recommended
A BAKERY WITHOUT HOT FOOD.... One of the greatest thing about a bakery is seeing fresh bread come out of the ovens and enjoy piping hot freshly baked bread. Sadly this cafe offers neither. No ovens. No hot bread. In fact no opportunity of having any hot food whatsoever. My cold closed rye sandwich of cheese pickle was pleasant enough, the cappuccino nothing really to write home about. The £7 price tag for a Coffee a small sandwich was definitely a little on the high side for the quality and size. Service was fine, as too the location. Plenty of Nordic minimalism and natural light. For a light bite and a coffee perfectly adequate if you're on Golden Square but sadly no good reason to go searching this one out.
