The atmosphere is lively and colorful, reminiscent of a student flat, with cozy seating areas on both floors. Upstairs, small tables are perfect for intimate gatherings, while downstairs offers larger tables for bigger groups. The food is delicious with decent portions, including a tasty vegetarian burrito and handmade tortilla chips served with nachos. The cocktails are recommended, particularly the Tommy's Margarita. Although slightly on the pricey side, the quality and flavor of the dishes make it worth it. Reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups, as seating can be limited. Overall, Crazy Homies is praised for its authentic Mexican cuisine and festive ambiance, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Ah Crazy Homies, you be crazy. Where we really wanted to eat was at Lucky 7 right next door, but they had a wait of about 20 minutes.
Love the food, hate the service. It pains me to write a bad review about a restaurant I otherwise love but the way we were treated by the manager "Maxi"
As someone who is Mexican-American, grew up in East Los Angeles and lived in Mexico, this place is spot on! If you're feeling homesick for Mexican
Love this place! Upstairs there's cosy seating by the bar and the room is filled with cosy furnishings and eclectic decorations and knick knacks. The seating area is perfect for tables of people each but a bit of a squeeze for any more. However, downstairs there's another bar and larger tables, great for bigger groups. The food is tasty and comes in decent portions; the vegetarian burrito is a personal favourite. The cocktails are absolutely delicious I recommend the Tommy's Margarita. They have a small selection of Mexican beers if tequila cocktails aren't your thing but don't bother with the wine...
Crazy Homies has the best nachos in London. While other establishments try to pass off nacho flavoured Doritos covered in half melted cheese as the real deal, Crazy Homies actually makes their tortilla chips by hand, daily. I’ve been several times before, but I recently went on Cinco de Mayo, which I think is some kind of Mexican holiday celebrating them getting rid of the French. I use it as an excuse to eat an uncomfortable amount of nachos and tacos washed down with at least three too many margaritas.
