Contribute FeedbackOverall, reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some customers found the experience disappointing, citing issues like limited menu choices, slow service, dry chicken, and dirty cutlery. Others enjoyed their visits, praising the ambience, varied menu, efficient wait staff, and delicious food. Some diners mentioned specific positives such as a cozy atmosphere, attentive waiters, authentic cuisine, and excellent draft proofing. However, there were also negative comments about poor service, delayed food delivery, missing orders, and bland dishes. On the positive side, the restaurant's convenient location and good options for children were highlighted by certain reviewers. In conclusion, while some patrons had a great experience and would recommend the restaurant, others had less favorable opinions and pointed out areas for improvement such as better service and food quality control.
Shown to a table promptly, it was not set with any cutlery, serviettes etc. waitress wiped half of the table only. Ordered food and the starter of calamari arrived which was so small it was laughable. We Both ordered sirloin steaks and unfortunately my partners was 30% gristle. We highlighted this to the server who replied with ‘oh sorry about that’ . Asked for the bill and service was added and nothing taken off for the inedible steak. The restaurant is looking tired, dirty and need of an urgent refurb. The toilets weren’t great either. Overall a dreadful experience. I guess they get a lot of business due to its location right next to St Paul’s.
Food was not hot, and steak was awful. Neither of us was a fan and was a disappointment unfortunately,
Lured in by the kids eat free sign in the window, we didn’t regret it. Friendly and attentive staff, great food (Truffle and Camembert burger was insane) and the waiter (his name escapes me) was exceptional in resolving a minor issue and went above and beyond. Bravo
Great French cuisine in the heart of London! We started with French Onion soup and Carrot Lentil soup. Both very good! For the main course my wife had sea bass and I had the 5oz. Minute Steak with Béarnaise sauce, medium done. I have to say that I haven’t had such a delicacy in a very long time! I definitely recommend it! For drinks we had Beafeater Pink, and the Vedett Extra IPA beer. Crème brûlée for dessert! What a wonderful culinary experience!
Stopped in after touring St. Paul. We had a few appetizers, split a dinner and a couple classes of wine each. Very reasonably priced and food was great!
