What Paul Lupu likes about Bugis Street Brasserie:
Outstanding in every category. Tried Veeraswamy, Tamarind, Chutney Mary (all lovely) but Bombay Brasserie is the best of the lot, so far, because of its consistency (every dish is perfect). Still have Benares to try but it will have to go some to equal or surpass this one. What Johannes Gut doesn't like about Bugis Street Brasserie:
On a Sunday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty, which affected the ambiance. The food was decent but not outstanding, and the service was a bit slow, possibly due to the quiet atmosphere. read moreBombay Brasserie offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers finding the food to be good but not outstanding, while others praise the consistency and perfection of every dish. The restaurant has faced criticism for being expensive, with some diners feeling that it did not offer good value for money. The service was a point of contention, with complaints about slow service, forgotten drinks, and premature table cleaning. On the other hand, some reviewers highlighted the friendly and attentive staff. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, those looking for authentic Indian cuisine may still find Bombay Brasserie to be a satisfying option.
