What MikeD likes about Browns - Covent Garden:
Had a great lunch with a table for 8 friends on a Friday ahead of Christmas. Food, wine and service were all very good and we all had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The only downside at the start was that the restraunt didn't have our Open Table booking which hade been 2 months before and Open Table had confirmed and sent reminders about. Served it’s purpose for a pre theatre meal. Really friendly but chaotic service felt a bit uncomfortable. Had to chase food up after 35 minute wait, so then had to eat in a rush. Would probably be better to serve fewer things better between 6 7:30pm. I do love Browns, food is good, but probably not at that time. View all feedback.

read moreBrown's offers a versatile dining experience for customers, with a range of reviews highlighting unique aspects of the restaurant. Some visitors mention enjoying the pre-theatre meal options, while others have raised concerns about chaotic service during busy hours. The menu seems to provide a variety of options, with traditional British dishes and gluten-free selections receiving positive feedback. However, inconsistent service quality is a common issue, with some customers mentioning slow service and unhelpful staff members. Overall, Brown's appears to be a hit-or-miss establishment, where the ambiance and food quality can vary. Whether it's enjoying a quick lunch, a meal with family or friends, or trying out new dishes like the bokkeumbap, Brown's seems to cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
