The food was good, although it could have been warmer when it arrived at my table. I appreciated having plenty to take home for the next day. The service was excellent; however, since we were the only customers there and there was no music playing, the atmosphere felt a bit bare. View all feedback.
What Spice Q doesn't like about Banana Island Bar Restaurant:
The stew had a great deal of sugar inside of it which made the sauce overly sweet for a Nigerian stew. Tasted very unauthentic for Nigerian cuisine. The portion size for the suya which amounted to 15 pounds per portion was a right rip off. Overall, very unimpressed in all honesty and will not reorder mainly due to the 15 pounds tiny portion of Suya if anything. This get rich quick scheme by bumping up food prices sky...
