500 Degrees - London

After always ordering from Yard Sale, I thought I would try here. The Marinara pizza topping was lovely, and the spicy nduja was delicious. The pizza dough was a little chewy but overall it was good. Slightly smaller than a 12” from Yard Sale but slightly cheaper.

Amazing experience from this pizzeria. The place is lovely as you can sit literally in front of the pizza chef and you can see how he makes all the pizzas. Federico did a great job, also the customer service from the waitress was excellent too.

This is a constructive review for a place that we believe may be the best pizza restaurant in the area. We had wanted to try the pizzas in this restaurant for a long time but the fact that there were just one or two patrons every time we passed by caught our attention. We decided to give it a try and our intuition did not fail us. Everything we ordered was delicious! As a starter we ordered the Mixed Platter and it was tasty and the presentation on point. A glass of prosecco and a glass of red wine of excellent selection and perfect temperature. And the pizzas just as we expected! Simply delicious! We would not change anything! The combination of flavors and ingredients was perfect. So why isn't this place as crowded as it should be? For two things in my opinion: The first: The atmosphere would change a bit with a little music in the back ground. Everything was so quiet and silent that we were almost whispering so as not to feel that everyone was listening to our conversation. The second and most important thing: The customer service. The guys are a bit shy and although they look nice they lack a bit of training. When we entered the restaurant, no one welcomed us and we sat where we wanted. When we asked the guy who served us, what has the Mixed Platter he did not know exactly what cheeses or meats were on the board. After the pizza was served, the whole staff disappeared and they stayed in the back the whole time. We would have ordered more wine if someone had asked us and if the attention had been better we would definitely have stayed for coffee and dessert. Anyway, I hope the owner can read this feedback and take it constructively. I really believe that this place is not only nice and well presentable but it has the best pizzas in the area but you definitely need better customer service and give your guys a little training and you are going to have people queuing at the entrance.

We received the most exceptional customer service today from a team member here. The Deliveroo app wouldn't allow us to select the pizzas we wanted so a staff member allowed us to select different items and to later confirm the correct order with him. When the order arrived we were surprised and pleased to find out that the staff member sent us a free desert and 2 snacks too!!The pizzas tasted amazing (we lived in Italy for 22 years so believe us!)and the customer service was GREAT.

Best pizza in South London and great Spritz with italian aperitivo! Love their Sicilian pizza with aubergines and ricotta shaves. So delicious!
