The tempura batter was a mess. I was quite surprised, as the presentation is usually impeccable!

It was paper... read more I used to really enjoy this place, but the quality has been declining over time. I ordered the pork belly appetizer and was extremely disappointed. It was paper-thin and so tough that I could barely bite into it. The rolls we received were nothing special; I could find better ones at a grocery store. They used to be great, but I’m now considering not returning because of the low quality of both the food and customer service. I hope they can improve. [Photo of the pork belly dish]

We initially visited when the restaurant first opened, and while it was good, it wasn't anything spectacular. I enjoyed it enough to go back again with my sister and our family. We ordered $120 worth of takeout, and when we got home, we were shocked at how unappetizing everything was. The beef was chewy and rubbery, almost like it had been boiled — definitely not fresh in taste or appearance. The rice was mushy and overcooked. The meals reminded me of frozen food, and we ended up throwing out all five dishes except for the pho soup, which was the only enjoyable item. It's been over a year since that experience, and I haven't returned.
