We visited the Lompoc KFC tonight at 8 PM and placed an order at the drive-thru for six mashed potato chicken bowls and twelve biscuits. It took over 45 minutes to receive our order, and they forgot the twelve biscuits. Additionally, they didn't answer the phone when we tried to call. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this issue.
Terrible experience. Although it indicated that the restaurant was open, we were unable to dine in. We went through the drive-thru and found that they didn't have any white meat or popcorn available. We opted for dark meat, but it was greasy and not enjoyable.
I had a bad experience at the restaurant. I ordered combo #8, but I ended up receiving the same meal as combo #1. I don't understand why I paid an extra four dollars for less food.
Terrible service. I went through the drive-thru, placed my order, and when I got to the window, the employee gave me part of my order and told me the rest would be ready in five minutes. I noticed two other cars were also asked to park like I was. I waited and waited. After about 20 minutes, I called the store, and they had no record of my order. The person on the phone told me to wait another five minutes. I explained that the chicken I already had was now cold and expressed my frustration, asking for a refund so I could eat elsewhere. She said she couldn't refund me. Eventually, 17 minutes later, I received the rest of my order. I had to go home and reheat the chicken myself, which defeated the purpose of ordering takeout. I was very inconvenienced and will never return to this KFC.
The staff closed the store without any notice, so we used the drive-thru and ended up waiting 10 minutes just for fries, while employees were outside making TikTok videos. We watched them having fun as our order sat untouched. Where’s the accountability? Who’s managing this place? *EDIT: After waiting 10 minutes for fresh fries, everything arrived cold, including the fries. Since the lobby was closed, I went through the drive-thru again, mentioned the cold fries, and they handed me a bag of warm fries. However, my sandwich was also wrong—I asked for no pickles due to an allergy, but it came with four pickles. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. KFC seriously needs to improve their employee training.
