Pho 1945 Poke Bowl - Lomita

I absolutely love this restaurant! Everything about it is fantastic, especially the pho sandwiches. I highly recommend it. Food: 5/5

The spring rolls were falling apart and mostly filled with lettuce. The vermicelli had a stale taste.

I visited this restaurant for the first time while I was in the area and I tried the brisket tendon phở. It was absolutely delicious! There was plenty of tendon, which I really enjoyed. The flavors were great, and everything tasted fresh. I came across some negative reviews, but my experience was entirely positive. I appreciate dining at family-owned restaurants, and I found the service here to be polite and attentive. I highly recommend giving this place a try; I think you'll find it to be a tasty and enjoyable experience!

I used to like coming here up until today. I came with my daughter and I ordered pho for myself and for my daughter. I struggle with eating meals and the Asian lady with short hair really messed it up for me. After taking our order she asked if one more person was coming and I responded with no. So she looked at her note pad where she takes orders down and looked back at us as if it was too much food for two people. I was not able to enjoy my food or even get myself to want to eat anymore. She then made faces when I asked for a to go box because I'm basically taking my whole plate home since I did not feel comfortable eating here.

I was not into the pho here. Got the fried tofu and veggie pho. Pros: good portion and good number of veggies. Cons: 3 thing pieces of tofu (aka very little tofu and strongly disliked the broth. I am guessing their broth is not vegan. Which is on me, I didn't call to see. I've never had chicken pho broth so maybe I'm just unaccustomed but I didn't like it. It reminded me of cup noodle and it even had a little bit of that highlighter yellow color to it. So as a vegan, will not be returning. That said, my two friends really enjoyed their dishes (a vermicelli dish and a dumpling pho . SO maybe try for yourself : got it to go so can't comment on service or ambiance. But they must've made it super fast cuz it was delivered by Uber Eats pretty dang quick.
