Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

I've been to this Handel's location in Long Beach a few times, and it's always been a great experience. The ice cream is delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Located in the center of LBX there's plenty of space for you to walk around and enjoy your delicious ice cream.I like the fact that Handel's has so many different flavors to choose from. There's something for everyone, whether you're a fan of classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, or you're looking for something more unique like Monkey Business or the Orange Dream Cream, you'll be leaving with a satisfied sweet tooth.If you're looking for a great place to get ice cream in Long Beach, I highly recommend Handel's Homemade Ice Cream. Yeah, the line is long in the evenings, but it's worth the wait. You won't be disappointed!

We love this place! The people working there are always so friendly and the line moves quickly. Our favorite part are the tiny kids cones! They're the perfect size for toddlers. Great treat without the sugar overload.

Amazing strawberry malt... What an excellent choice. I really enjoy the cleanliness and the customer service. Very little wait time.

There is ALWAYS a line....because the ice cream is THAT. GOOD! Know that even when the line extends to the end of the curb, it moves very quickly, thanks to the folks behind the window.The service is excellent, and the QUALITY of the ice cream is so good! This is heads and shoulders above other chain ice cream shops (note: I am sadly lactose intolerant, but can somehow tolerate Handels! .Be aware that their small scoop is two and a half scoops, so if you don 't eat your ice cream quickly on the cone, you may want to get a cup to dump it into once it gets drippy!
