I had ordered a footlong to share with my husband and asked her to cut it in half before adding the toppings. Everything was the same except I wanted lettuce on one side and spinach on the other. When I got to the checkout, the redhead behind the register told the cashier to charge me for two six-inch subs. I questioned this, and she explained that her boss ordered it due to the different toppings. I couldn’t believe it! I told her I wouldn’t be coming back and asked her to tell her boss that. I got to my truck, took a few bites, and found the meat to be very cold. I called to report it, and the redheaded girl answered again. I explained the situation, but she only offered a half-hearted apology and didn’t suggest making a new sandwich until there was a long silence. I was too frustrated to go back in, so I decided to leave. I won't be returning to this Subway again. Any other place would have promptly addressed the issue instead of leaving me hanging in silence. Avoid this place!

I mentioned that I was nicely requesting a remake, to which he replied that he “didn’t care about being nice” and pointed out that I already received a free sandwich. While I wouldn’t have been upset if he had simply refused the remake, his hostile and loud demeanor was unwarranted. I showed him the sandwich with chicken instead of turkey, and he became even more irate but eventually agreed to remake it. What concerned me further was that he was the only worker the night before, leading me to suspect that he might have intentionally messed up my order. I reminded him that it was their responsibility to prepare the sandwich correctly. He accused me of being ungrateful, claiming that I always get free sandwiches and that remaking my order would be a “waste.” He even threatened to eliminate the BOGO deal for everyone, saying it would be “because of me.” While he stood over my sandwich, he attempted to engage me in an argument about my frequent use of the BOGO offer. I explained that perhaps I couldn’t afford to order anything else, and he dismissed my concern, insisting it wasn’t his issue and that I was costing him money. He got particularly upset when I referred to the BOGO as a coupon, even though the two terms are not mutually exclusive. Feeling uneasy being alone there at night as a woman, I began recording the conversation. In the last five minutes of the recording, you can hear him yelling at me about how I always take advantage of free sandwiches, how it’s a BOGO deal—not a coupon—and how I’m the reason he plans to discontinue the BOGO. I suggested it might be best for him to get rid of the deal if it bothers him so much when people use it. After more back and forth, he slid the sandwich toward me and threatened, “If I ever see your name again and you get the BOGO, you’re only getting one sandwich.” While the recording doesn’t capture the worst of his attitude, you can still hear him yelling and trying to argue with me. It’s hard to fathom how a business owner could berate a woman at least 30 years younger than him over a coupon. I will never return to this Subway, and I’ll make sure none of my friends do either. I’ve never felt more embarrassed, frightened, and upset by a local business in my life. Overall, I would advise against visiting this Subway—the owner is extremely rude. Jacks next door is much more accommodating and handles their (rare) mistakes with professionalism.

The owner is rather tight-fisted and doesn't accept many coupons. The sandwiches only had a thin layer of lunch meat, and I've heard he sells expired meat. I definitely won't be returning!

Food was great. Only 1 worker present so it was slow but he did a great job

Burnt cookies, burnt bread, low quality and/or spoiled veggies. Super low quality even for a subway. This particular subway never seems to get it right even through ownership changes.
