The Scottish mussels we... read more Didn't stay in the hotel, but stopped for a quick lunchtime drink and some cheesy chips... Absolutely delicious so went back for dinner. The Scottish mussels were absolutely delicious, and my husband's pork belly was equally tasty. Well presented, quality food, can heartily recommend for refueling after hiking in the area.

The look of the outside and the area has put us off... read more Lived in the area for a year, and it was our first visit to Mhor 84 tonight, and it was a pleasant surprise. The look of the outside and the area has put us off in the past as the building and outside area is a bit run down. Menu is a bit more inspired than many other places in the area. Nice to see some Scottish produce and some interesting ideas. We started with the scallops and mussels, and both were perfectly cooked, fresh, and tasty, and we couldn't fault them. For the main course, we both had the lamb. Mine was delicious, nice and red (how I love it), tender and tasty accompanied by some fresh greens. However, my partners was a lot tougher and had a lot of sinews, almost like it was cut against the grain. She only ate half of it and we did comment on it, but they didn't knock anything off. For dessert, we had the mixed fruit crumble with ice cream. It was nice, but the topping was like a powder. It had a nice flavour but would have preferred something with a bit more substance, a bit more crunch. Service was great, and all in all, we had a great evening, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Good drinks as we... read more We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed this place. The room was comfortable and well decorated, and the food at the restaurant was amazing! Good drinks as well. We explored the local loch, and there is the cycle route that made a great trail for running. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The food in the restaurant was amazing and... read more We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. We shared a bungalow which was beautifully decorated with great amenities. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the service was fantastic. Very easy check in and check out. A great stopover on any trip in Scotland.
