This place is tasty. I busied myself styling the straw in my **** Mary then the food arrived. Time flies when you're having fun. The food was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed that red sauce for the eggs. The biscuit was fluffy and dreamlike : View all feedback.
What Julie Wolfe doesn't like about Huckleberry's Breakfast Lunch:
Meh. I so wanted to love this place. It has a bit of a funky smell and a huge water leak in the bathroom. Food is Southern inspired but if you've actually had a beignet in NOLA you will be very disappointed here. : View all feedback.
Disappointing Omelette!! Also, the To Go orders are SMALL PORTIONS now!! I created my own, definitely not egg whites I paid extra! The hash browns had a funky old oil smell, must apos;ve absorbed into them as they tasted like stale old oil or griddle wasnt cleaned properly. I paid extra for the tiniest sliver of brown old avocado! I have noticed Hucklberrys hasnt been consistent. ll be going back to my Country waffles breakfast!! NOT A FAN LATELY!
We apos;ve ordered the Hucks burritos many times and have been happy with them but this time we had Over cooked chewy scrambled eggs inside all of the burritos a plop of barely melted cheddar cheese on top. The positives they did adhere to special needs allergies. Packaged well too!

Comfortable place with a friendly staff and excellent food. So why 4 stars? Everything is big and heavy. A quarter of a century ago, I would have loved it, but these days, most everything was to big and too rich. I left too much food on my plate. I 'd love either a 'light eaters ' or Seniors section on the menu. That would earn 5 stars!
The Louisiana Omelet was absolutely fabulous! The shrimp were plump and fresh, and the Andouille sausage was delicious. The portion sizes were generous; they definitely don’t skimp on the amounts, which is a nice touch! For the side, there are several options to choose from, including toast, fresh fruit, and biscuits and gravy. I opted for the biscuits and gravy, and they were tasty! Next on my list is the Shrimp Po'boy! As someone from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, it’s wonderful to find dishes that truly taste like home. Thank you!
