Demitri's Taverna - Livermore

We wanted to get out of the heat so we took a small drive over the Altamont we are so happy we did!! The food, service, outside seating with soft jazzy music playing. What more could you ask for!!! Definitely recommend

As a Greek, this is one of the most original tasting Greek food places that I've tried in the States. I ordered Dolmathes, Flaming Saganaki and the gyro platter and for the dessert Kantaifi Sundae. Everything was tasty and looking fresh, the dessert was a little hard to cut and chew. Overall it is a great place to try and take your friends and family. ?

My favorite restaurant in downtown Livermore. They make really tasty food and I come here regularly.

The food was very good! We were a group of eight, and all enjoyed their meals and dessert. Service was excellent! I know it sometimes cannot be helped when you have a large group, but it was extremely noisy when we arrived and during our main course. Dessert time, the noise level was very good.

We had outside seating as requested. The server was prompt and took good care of our needs. The host that seated us was very dry and did not make us feel very welcome. We had been to the restaurant in the past and were very impressed with the stuffed grape leaves and we're looking forward to having them again. Unfortunately they were all out of them.
