Mcdonald's - Lititz
Mcdonald's
Description
McDonald’s in Lititz impresses with fresh, juicy burgers and consistently hot fries, standing out against competitors like Five Guys. The restaurant boasts a modern, clean interior with free WiFi and well-maintained bathrooms, though occasional cleanliness lapses at tables are noted. Service is generally friendly and prompt, despite some order mix-ups and kiosk outages. The busy atmosphere can lead to a warm dining area, with air conditioning considered insufficient during peak times. Specialty drinks and frozen yogurt disappoint at times due to poor preparation or machine issues. Leadership shines, with staff often praised for professionalism and customer care. Overall, a reliable choice with room for improvement.

Unfortunately, Wendy's is generally not my favorite, but the one in Lititz, PA, surprised me with really good food. I did receive the wrong burger initially, and the drive-thru was quite slow. Restaurants could learn a thing or two from Chick-fil-A; they really know how to manage things!
The food is outstanding, but the service is a bit sluggish for a McDonald's. If you choose to go, make sure to set aside some extra time for your meal.
I went through the drive-through and ordered two Medium Caramel Frappes. After paying, I reached the second window where they were ready to hand out. I asked if they were Medium, and the man confirmed they were. However, the cups were actually marked as small, even though the receipt showed I paid for mediums.
Three of the four ordering kiosks were out of order, so we had to wait for staff assistance at the counter. Our food arrived at the table and was prepared correctly, although the sweet and sour sauce was missing. The restaurant felt quite warm inside, especially with the outside temperature at 75 degrees. Turning on the air conditioning would have made the experience more comfortable. It was busy during lunchtime on a Saturday. Overall, it was an average experience, but there is certainly room for improvement.
If you're considering trying the new holiday Iced Mocha Peppermint in Lititz, you might want to think again. No one seemed to be aware that it was even on the menu, much less what it actually was—whether it was a coffee, frappuccino, or milkshake. I ended up paying $3.69 for what was essentially a cold coffee topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. There was no ice, no peppermint, and I seriously doubt there was any mocha in it. In short, I suggest you skip this drink and head over to Wendy's for their Peppermint Frosty instead.
