20 000 Cows Vegetarian Ashram (sanctuary)

This is a nice, friendly vegetarian restaurant. It's just small, but that's one of his highlights. The farm was lit and also had a few string lights, which is a very intimate environment. Soft music played in the background. Inside was very casual as you could sit on lounges and tables. We were greeted with a warm smile, a table shown and water given. The menu was not big, but it was definitely interesting. I had the middle east plate, which was delicious with so many flavors. General meals, nice smells and friendly hospitality. I highly recommend this place. I'm not vegetarian, but I really enjoyed the meal as an alternative. A little hidden jewel in Lismore. The name of the restaurant has its own history. The only negative was that they don't have Eftpos, only bank transfer or cash.

Best restaurant in Lismore In my dating days I would ask girls out to dinner there and they would ask if I was vegetarian. No, I love a good steak, but, it's the best restaurant in town. It's not a business, it's more like a charity or a church My favourite dish from there, curry, a mixture of Alu Matar, Palak Alu or Chunna, and yellow Dahl. After an entree of pakora Kurgelis is lovely too! Turkish delight for desert

Delicious vegan food in a very relaxed atmosphere. Service is fantastic and the food is priced well for food size portions. Also they were fully booked but squeezed us in before one of the later bookings came. I called and said I would see what the other person thought and just rocked up, when we arrived they had saved us a spot even though they had had other people enquire.
