Riverside Dining Room - Liscomb Mills

The chef is amazing! His bend of flavors and presentations are fantastic. We stayed two days and recommend the following: Baked brie app.; Planked salmon; lobster risotto; Cornish hen and swordfish with scallops.

A pretty extensive menu all at reasonable prices. The service was good and very friendly. Book early to get the meal time you want.

We ate here recently during a one night stay. The meal was excellent. I had the salmon which their signature dish and it was lovely. My husband had the tenderloin with frites and it was likewise excellent. Unfortunately no room for dessert!!!! Personally we found the breakfast buffet underwhelming and I must have misunderstood about the lack of availability of breakfast from a menu .....which now that I see it on-line looks excellent

The best place to enjoy a supreme dinner with wine and whatever else tickles your fancy. Planked salmon is supreme. The area is beautiful but remote so dig a little deeper and stay in a riverfront chalet for the night,then you can enjoy a night cap in the lounge.

I was delighted by the unexpected pleasant surprise of dining at the Riverside Dining Room at Liscombe Lodge. I began with the delicious baked Brie, followed by the chef's special Digby scallops, while my wife enjoyed the renowned cedar plank salmon. Both dishes were excellent. For dessert, we indulged in the apple bumble berry crisp, although we found the portion of ice cream accompanying it to be overly generous. Our server was friendly, but could benefit from some additional training to avoid reaching over guests. Overall, we had a lovely evening.
