The restaurant was beautiful and the table was next to the window with an incredible view of the river. The waiter took our order and everything seemed fine. The food came and the waiter was gone until we finished. My water had gone halfway through the meal and my wife never received the gravitation she demanded. We asked that our fries be made a little crispy, but that never happened. The bowl of the seafood cahowder was not very large, but was very good and filled with seafood. I thought it was strange that it wasn't with crackers or a role. If the waiter would come back to check us out, I would have asked for a role. The rest of the food was satisfactory. Better service would have made this a very pleasant Ovelall experience.

Everyone was... read more We stayed at the Liscombe Lodge on our trip through the Maritimes. We ate at the restaurant one evening....it is a gem . Upscale food Presentation. Everyone was so friendly. The scenery is beautiful and the service excellent. I would highly recommend this place...for dinner.

The restaurant's dining room is very noisy. The buffet food, especially the desserts, are not fresh. The main dishes are heated, causing the potatoes to dry out... read more The restaurant's dining room is very noisy. The buffet food, especially the desserts, are not fresh. The main dishes are heated, causing the potatoes to dry out and the windows inside and outside to be dirty. The carpet is as stale as the food. The service is bad and there is a lack of follow-up.
