Lovely service... read more What a lovely find near my hotel. Glad I didn't have breakfast included or wouldn't have found this place. Lovely coffee and pastries and cheap! Lovely service too and by day two they welcomed me back with my order ready. I wish I had more time to try some of their dishes as they looked fantastic. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Francesinha is basically a sandwich made with two slices of bread, Portuguese sausage, steak and ham, melted Edam cheese and a spicy beer and tomatoes sauce. It is believed that the sauce recipe is actually secret and the traditional Francesinha can only be enjoyed in Portugal. It was a very different meal and best in years. I will miss it!
