Momma's Place - Linden

Poor customer service! Employee who answered the phone to take my order was very impatient and rude. Bad tone.. I ultimately canceled my order. My first experience ordering food at Momma's Place in Linden, NJ was satisfactory but today was unacceptable. Perhaps, the employee was just having a bad day. It appears there are similar issues with poor customer service on this website. Obviously there is an issue. Small business owners should understand that new customers are important and retaining existing customers are just as important. I'm sort of in between the two. The customer can always take their cash somewhere else. Please address the customer service issue. This is not a complaint but an opportunity to make things better. Thanks, Concerned Customer.

Love this place! Food is so tasty and always fresh, only downside is the hours are not accurate as they are sometimes closed when it says open. Besides that service is great and food is done quickly!

I've had the smothered chicken in the past and liked that a little more than the Turkey wings. Though both were good and the Turkey wings are one of their popular items on grubhub. Collard greens were good both times and so was the meat but feel like the Mac both times (which I forgot this go round unfortunately) gave stove top. Just seemed underbaked. I know the new way with Mac n cheese, people often do a cheese sauce but still have had Mac made that way that's been more well baked/ still tasted like baked Mac n cheese. When stirring it, it stirs and mashed like stove top, versus it being a bit more stiff when trying to manipulate it. I'd order again but with the yams instead (they were good last time), didn't get them this time. Makes me want to give 3/3.5 stars because baked Mac is essential to a soul spot so sucks having to order rice or another starch from a soul food place.

Door dashed the chicken wing dinner, candid yams,cabbage, mac n cheese. Everything was to perfection. Tasted like my big mama cooked it. Thanks guys, I would definitely eat here again ?

OMG!! THE BEST SOUL FOOD I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. MOMMA HAD ME WITH HER SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY ON THE PHONE!!! THE FOOD WAS THE ICING ON THE CAKE. I GOT THE FRIED CHICKEN WINGS DINNER W/MAC N CHEESE AND COLLARDS WITH A SIDE OF YAMS!! DEEEELIIIISSSSHHHHOUS!!! IDK HOW I'M GOING TO WORK AND I DIDN'T EVEN FINISH IT!! I'M ALREADY LOOKING AT WHAT I'M GOING TO GET NEXT!!!? PLUS GREAT PRICES!!!
