Was Anonym at The Oakroom a mag?
While visiting family in my parents' hometown of Adare, I took a stroll toward the gates of Adare Manor and noticed The Good Room. The building is charming, much like many of the cottages in Adare. On a beautiful sunny day, I enjoyed sitting outside with a pot of tea and a muffin—though I’m not sure of the flavor, it both looked and tasted delicious. What Anonym dislikes about The Oakroom:
We visited The Oakroom for breakfast on a Monday morning. Unfortunately, a few of the items we wanted were not available that day. My child wanted to choose something from the sweet treat display but decided against it because wasps were landing on and sampling the items. It was a shame these treats weren’t covered. On this occasion, it deterred me from enjoying the experience fully. View all feedback.

The French toast was generous and tasty. It would improve if the plates were warmed, as serving a cold second course detracts from the overall dining experience.

This well-loved and reasonably priced café is situated just across the street from the church on the Limerick side of Adare. It features freshly baked treats and a variety of thoughtfully crafted menu options.

My only criticism is that the interior has been completely renovated, causing it to lose some of its original character.

A fantastic place to eat, especially for breakfast or lunch. We've been coming here for the last 10 years every 6 months or so, on our trips to Kerry. The food is always so fresh and they update the menu regularly so always something different. The Buddha bowl and prawn tostada on our last trip was delicious. Good vegetarian options are always available. Price is relatively good and the service is always great. We'll be back again soon

We have visited The Good Room many times and most of the time the food is very good. There’s good choice on the menu and something for everyone. However, the service is an issue unfortunately. It takes far too long to order , we’ve often had to wait a good 15/20 mins after seating and then have to go get a waitress ourselves or try to get the attention of one. It’s a pity because as mentioned the food is consistently good but poor service leaves a bad taste I’m afraid.
