Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant at McLaughlin's hotel has received mixed reviews. While some customers have found the food to be average and overpriced, others have had positive experiences. The service has been generally good, with attentive and friendly staff. The quality of the food has been highlighted in some cases, with well-cooked dishes presented beautifully. However, there have been comments about slow service and lack of wine knowledge. Overall, the cozy atmosphere and friendly atmosphere have left some customers satisfied and willing to return, while others have been left wanting more improvement.
I had never dined at this hotel before, only attended weddings. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent and friendly service, although the refill of our wine glasses was a bit slow. The food was high quality and well-presented, with no complaints from anyone in our group. The Seafood Chowder I had as a starter was on par with what I've enjoyed at other restaurants. My main course, the Sea Bass fillet, was cooked to an exceptional standard. Though I didn't try dessert, others in my group said they were very good. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely return to this restaurant.
The staff at the pub were amazing. We spent three nights there and enjoyed dinner at the pub each evening, and we were never let down. The local dishes were outstanding.
I dined at McLaughlin's this evening and found the restaurant to be warm and beautifully decorated. The steak was fantastic—generously sized and cooked to perfection, served with a delicious pepper sauce, fries, and steamed vegetables. To top off the meal, I enjoyed some apple pie and coffee, which was a delightful addition. Our waiter, Jack, was friendly, attentive, and dependable, regularly checking on us and providing great recommendations. I definitely intend to return for more meals while I'm here and in the future.
My family and I had lunch at this bar on a Sunday and were greeted warmly by Shannon and Kevin. The menu offered a wide variety of options. I chose the Caesar Salad while my fiancée went for the beef. Our order was taken by a delightful young woman named Sarah. The service was prompt, and the portions were generous. The food was absolutely delicious. This has quickly become our favorite spot for Sundays. The prices are also very reasonable. A big shoutout to all the staff and the chef for delivering such exceptional 5-star service!
Had a steak. Asked for medium rare but got medium to well done. Not a great range on the menu just the average pub food you'll find everywhere.
