Excellent restaurant with fresh seafood. Absolutely loved the fresh sea urchin and large raw seafood plate (sashimi or tiraditos). They really work hard to have the freshest seafood in town. Ask for the fresh fish of the day which is constantly changing. One of my...favorites was the duck rice dish. Wide selection of drinks and really liked their pisco sour made at table side. Always lip kit which pisco you would like which will vary the price. The desserts were also excellent and enjoyed their version of key lime pie. Excellent upscale service. Keep in mind that this is an expensive place so plan accordingly.
Northern Peruvian cuisine has some similarities with Lima cuisine but, its different. It is like whiskey from Scotland and somewhere else. This restaurant focuses on the classics from Northern Peru: duck, goatling/kid and grouper. Prices are similar to a nice upper average restaurant in Miami or NY. It is expensive because the ingredients are brought daily from the North.Bar is very nice and well supplied. Coming back.
This Peruvian restaurant was recommended. we were there at the end of the week, so no alcohol. we had their version of icy tee, which was delicious. my man had grilled kabrito, with assorted vegetables and a roasted rice and bean dish, which was in a small iron table. I had swung with tomato, swirling and green bevelling with a very beautiful sauce, side were rice as well as fried kartoffeln. I didn't care about the consistency of the kartoffels. the inner was yellow and muddy. it seemed another type of kartoffel would have been better suited for frying. as a starter we had something called corn cookies with a soot, edgy sauce. the desert was chocolate ice cream with 80% koka. I would recommend this place. we were the only non-peruvians.
I really had a culinary experience with my friends a very special night with good service and good eating the only dish that we did not like was to share the seafood plate the oktopus was very hard and overall was not a good standard
