Ever since I saw the restaurant's sign, I knew i had to try it at least once. I'd be lying if i didn't say I was disappointed when I found out that the only connection the restaurant had with the Simpsons was the sign. That being said, I thought the food and service were amazing. The waitress was very kind and helpful. She kept an eye out for us the whole time we were in the restaurant. The menu is made up primarily of seafood, but there are other options like chicken and beef. The menu includes a kids section, which i appreciate considering i have a 3 year old who is very reluctant to try new dishes. The place is big, it has 2 floors and a terrace. It is very clean and well illuminated. The order came out surprisingly fast considering the place was packed. I still have to try the rolls on thursday but I'd definetly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, huge servings, real value. the best lemonade this side of the middle east. the seafood rice was particularly good
We visited last month and we were very disappointed, the restaurant was hot (no air condition) and the service was slow. We ordered two "ceviches" and the plates were tiny and expensive, the taste was so so, I really don't recommend this place.
If in any time you would like to try and taste fish and seafood at a very good price/quality rate, this shall be your choice. and if You would like to try flag typical Peruvian food , here is the place also. If you want share good sport moments while a soccer game of any other game from anywhere, just inform to Gonzalo (The owner chef) and He will take care to prepare for You an exclusive environment for your group. All the best and have a very good and delicious time in OH, Mero.
I 'd give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. A solid good rating. The restaurant was obviously created by someone who is a fan of the Simpsons. I found the bright orange and yellow walls a bit tacky. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was tasty. The Arroz con mariscos tasted more like risotto as it definitely had cream in it. It was good but not what I expected. I was disappointed. The choros a la chalaca were OK. The octopus was delicious. So was the fried ceviche. We also tried the corvina with camarones which came with a risotto. It was delightful. More attention needs to be paid to maintenance though. Some lights were burnt and the restroom didn 't have soap. In all fairness it took them a few minutes to get soap. But with what you pay I feel they should check those things out in advance.
