Michele Forgione Stefano Faita hit a nerve with Montreal diners with this finely-tuned Little Italy collaborazione. Now the duo is about to deliver GEMA, a new wave pizzeria. [Eater 38 Member] View all feedback.
What Ali F doesn't like about Impasto:
Nice atmosphere with open kitchen concept and friendly staff. Got disappointed by portions (very small even if taking 3 dishes) expensive bill compared to other top places in town. View all feedback.

Was disappointed in it being fried greasy tasting… my personal like is grilled!!
Walked in with High expectations..... Unfortunately not impressed Gnocchi’s (okay) As for the fried Octopus Linguini w Clams, including the semifreddo beignets not to our expectation
Any and all pasta dishes and almost all main dishes from Mike and team are excellent! And the warm professional yet friendly service of Pascal and team. One of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal
Found it overpriced and a bit bland. Except for the Gnocchi that was stellar. Portions were small and it took 15—20 mins between courses. So… it's a decent Italian with lots of buzz.
