Nice place, clean tidy, good service.
Good selection of real ales but no staff at bar for a while while 3 customers waiting
This restaurant is very traditional. I stopped in for a drink after visiting the mill. The pint was nice, but it was even better if you enjoy using the restroom afterwards and hearing the locals ask the bartender, "Did he buy a drink?" Yes, I did - in fact, I bought two drinks and a packet of crisps, if that's any of your business!
Very nice Sunday roast. Couldn't fault the food or the service. Dogs allowed in the bar and the top part of the restaurant but limited seating in these areas.
While out for a stroll, we spontaneously decided to stop for dinner. The restaurant was very inviting and the food was excellent. Mandy, the chef, did a fantastic job and took great care of us during our meal.
