A great stop just 5 minutes from the m6 to take a snack and a drink. friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. I didn't eat that so I can't get to eat, but it looks decent. much better than stop at a terrible service station.

We visited this pub in March 2019 and had a nice meal approx. 3 weeks before it fell food hygiene evaluation from a 5 to 1 and we had a nice meal. we decided to go back yesterday to see if the pees were so good and we were surprised to be the only people there who eat. we had a Sharing-Platter-Starter that was ok, some parts love others not like that, but the pub proud of its dead. we had both chickens, ham and rag cake and it was nice, hot and fresh. my hubby had chips and I had maic, both hot and very tasty. it's a pity that the food hygiene rating diners is driving away and I hope they sort their problems. I will not eat anywhere in the rule a food hygiene assessment lower than a 4 but I am glad that I took a chance because I these cakes are amazing!
Very nice PH and very dog friendly. Made to feel very welcome, we had a share of a box of chocolates. We will definitely return
