I'v... read more I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I'm a big fan of Pollo Asado (Mexican Roast Chicken) back in my hometown, but I didn't enjoy it here at all. I've had great experiences at several small places in the Kansas City area that serve delicious grilled chicken with tortillas and tasty side dishes. So, I thought I'd give Pollo Asada a try here in Liberal to see how they compared. Unfortunately, the chicken was tender but only lukewarm. It seemed like all the food had been kept warm since lunchtime, even though we arrived around 5:30 PM. The grilled jalapeños were nearly flavorless, as were the marinated onions. The only redeeming side dish was the beans. We tried it once, but we won’t be returning.
