What User doesn't like about The Hill Station:
The space is nice enough and the food isn't actively terrible, although it is overpriced for what it is (and cold). By far the worst thing, though, is the service. The staff are, frankly, rude. They avoid eye contact when they dump the food on...the table, and glare at you if you ask them for even the most reasonable requests (I had the gall to ask for salt and pepper). I walked up from New Cross Gate and passed through Telegraph Lower Hill Park. Before entering Telegraph Upper Park, I decided to relax and have a snack at The Hill Community Cafe. I ordered a bacon roll and tea, which were both tasty. The cafe, as its name suggests, is designed for the community. Overall, it's a nice place to stop in between the two parks during a hill climb.
