Beers on tap we hadn’t tried before which was great. Chicken pie best we have found in Sussex so far.

After a long hike we ended up in Lewes where I had the pleasure of savoring a roast lamb dinner at The Snowdrop Inn, and I can’t stop raving about the incredible culinary experience I had. All of our hiking group were equally complimentary of the food and service. From start to finish, every aspect of the meal was absolutely fantastic. The food was cooked perfectly, generous in portion size and was accompanied by a medley of tasty vegetables. For such a large group we had a private upstairs area and the staff were always attentive and the food orders were delivered quickly. All of this and more in a rustic and cosy environment which sums up the traditional English pub. I hope we can return to this charming pub for another post hike social. Thoroughly recommended if you are in Lewes or the surrounding area!

The me... read more We enjoyed a delicious vegan pie with chips, peas, and gravy at this restaurant. My friend opted for the veggie mac and cheese, which was also delicious. The menu had a good variety of options, all clearly labeled. Although we missed out on trying the Sunday roast, we heard it is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of drinks. It was nice to revisit this old favorite after many years. We look forward to coming back again.
