A little isolated in that its part of an industrial estate and near a seemingly derelict station, its more comfortable than it looks from outside. Limited to a... read more A little isolated in that its part of an industrial estate and near a seemingly derelict station, its more comfortable than it looks from outside. Limited to a single option on hand pump, the beer is nevertheless well kept. Friendly staff, somewhat dated interior and the ubiquitous large screen TV , permanently on and muted , nobody actually watching, which seems to be a modern requirement.

The publican Bob and his daughters were friendly and really good at making you feel included. Fantastic karaoke that I normally don't do but felt safe enough in this pub. Haven't laughed and talked to so many new people in ages and all were friendly and welcoming. I really will look forward to coming back. Thank you so much we had a ball!
