The serv... read more This independent restaurant is a reminder of how things should be done. The menu is varied and interesting and the food is made with love and it shows. The service was warm, friendly and unobtrusive. Special mention to the parsnip soup and brandy snap baskets amazing. Great value for money and the fact it’s always booked well in advance should tell you all you need to know. We will be back!

The starters were amazing however the soup was absolutely tasteless . They were polite and gave us a sorbet . For the main dish we ordered Seabass and it was very fishy and tasted like it wasn’t fresh . Me and my mum are not picky at all but we just took 3 bites of it as it wasn’t edible . The desert was good tho . Never going back as we just had this fishy aftertaste all evening
