Great food and great service. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table, the place was packed so we thought it would maybe take a while for the food to get out, but everything came out quite fast. Enjoyed the lamb and the duck, and the steamed mussels as well. Great restaurant if you’re in the area.
Food was standard fare, not particularly amazing but not terrible. Service from a few staff was great but our waiter ignored our table even after we asked for dessert menus-he continue to go around every table but ours. After 10 minutes of waiting, we paid and left. Most if the diners were elderly-reminded me of restaurants in Florida-standard mediocre food, tired decor, and a clientele that doesn’t mind any of that.
Speedy Service when ordering, drinks (selection of Donegal craft beers available) brought fast, starter came quick with extra plates to share if desired. Main course came soon after we finished the starter. All the dishes we ordered were very nice, no matter what we had ordered. Dessert was also very nice.
Our visit here was a lovely experience. The food the staff the place itself were all excellent. What else can I say. If you are a whiskey drinker, the owner also has a distillery and their whiskey is very good too. My favourite was the version called Alba.
