An amazing multisensory dining experience for our large dining group. The owner and his staff exuded such enthusiasm and passion for their craft and its end products that often the chefs would introduce the dishes they had prepared and we had a guided tour of the kitchen. All in a wonderful evening and any foodie within travelling distance of this restaurant should make the detour and eat there! View all feedback.
The food was really extraordinary: such tasty food, often with a columbian touch, the wines were so well chosen in line with the different type of ingredients. The service was just impeccable: friendly, at ease, super professional! The visit to the kitchen was so nice and gave us a bit of insight in the “heart” of the restaurant. We come back as soon as possible and we hope you get the next stars soon. You deserve them! You can be proud on what you have realised over the years with the whole team! A big thank you to you all for what you do on a daily basis to make sure your clients enjoy a wonderful moment! Isabelle and Bruno
We visited the restaurant around the end of July. A top experience! We were welcomed by manager Cyriel, who's the son of founder Piet. We took the starters and the apéritif on the terrace outside, which was really pleasant since we had good weather and the street wasn't too crowded. To our surprise, the seats on the 1st floor right next to the kitchen were free and we could watch the whole menu being prepared! We chose for the Likoké menu, which was perfect for us... It was a journey through different parts of the world, with some real explosions in taste. Some nice appetizers, followed by Belgian fries and mussels. After that we had Bobotie, which is from South Africa and Ajiaco from Colombia. Taha (one of the staff cut us a nice piece of meat called Biltong from South Africa, which tasted amazing... Unfortunately this nice guy stopped a few weeks ago at the restaurant. Maybe we'll see him at some other great restaurant soon : Some of the other great dishes that followed were the Moambe, the Salade Niçoise and the special Tajine. The desserts were equally amazing, so what more to say about this unforgettable experience... We recommend it and will surely go back! Hopefully for Cyriel and his staff they will receive their second Michelin star soon.
The staff was very friendly especially Cyriel, one of the owners. The food: every dish was very special....some dishes more special than others. In general....159 euro for a menu is in my opinion too expensive for the dishes we received. For this price I can already have a very good menu in a 2-star restaurant in Belgium.

Cyriel and his staff made us feel very welcome and I was delighted to enjoy a special meal at this fabulous restaurant. The quality of the cooking was excellent and the menu was fascinating having taken inspiration from far and wide. The staff were great as well. This is a restaurant worthy of more than it one star.
