For a wine shop, we never saw the wine list. When we explained that the wine by the glass offered didn 't suit us... the response was, We only have expensive, high-end bottles. We 're willing to pay if we like it, but give us a choice! Once we got past that unpleasant remark, we were happy with the alternative. Thank you. The meat looked tempting, but it had been sold out since the previous day at lunchtime... In short, a mixed bag!
