After walking the full length of the promenade we were ready for lunch, this looked like where the locals dined and we were correct. We were shown a window table with a good view of the harbour and had the menu with a 1/2 litre of Sauvignon Blanc. 3 excellent courses and wine with a bill of under €50 which for Les Sables seemed very reasonable and friendly service, highly recommended especially for the fish main cour... an enchanting card, but which does not hold any of its promises. the curry mussel cassolette. the curry is much too present, the mussels bathe in cream in too large quantity and in addition the cook has had a heavy hand on the spoon pepper. Concerning the dish, the salmon was too cooked, also bathed in cream, as to dessert the crêpe way enjoyole was not the day and why put these color vermicelles there! Anyway, forgo...
