We are thrilled that we made the extra effort to visit James' restaurant. The flash-fried bug and mac n cheese were absolutely delicious. The cocktails, particularly the espresso martini and margarita, were also fantastic. It was a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, not too crowded. The restaurant experience was terrible. There was a lack of atmosphere, the service was bad, and cleanliness seemed to be an issue. The food was bland and we will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. The staff, including the chef, need to reconsider their approach as they appeared dirty and the waitress was quite rude. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food, desserts, cocktails, setting, and staff are all beautiful and independent. Absolutely fantastic.
Great service and food, it would have been 5 if they were open on time ; . We will 100% go again, the pancakes were the best I’ve had in years.
