Overnight stay with breakfast. If you're searching for a boutique hotel equipped with all the latest amenities, including self check-in, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a basic room featuring a clean bathroom, fresh bedding, a decent TV, and free WiFi, you'll find all that here, along with free parking on-site, a warm welcome in the bar, and an Italian restaurant. While the Italian menu mainly focuses on pasta and pizza, it also includes a variety of classic pub fare, and there's plenty to choose from. Landlady Alex and her husband Sav make a great team and provide excellent service. We arrived with some uncertainty but left with smiles, already planning our return. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian breakfast was both delicious and generous. Parking: Although it states "permit holders only," you can simply park and enter your car registration at the pub to sort it out.

Not good food even if your offering cheap food I think you can still do it good. beef and ale pie had extremely weird nasty after taste but credit due to the staff....received refund immediately with no quibbles. I had a cheeseburger cheese had no flavour and plasticky and strange crust on burger made it chewy, in fact a very bland burger Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Made a group booking for around 12 people, then had to cancel at short notice. Rebooked 2 months later and was welcomed, again with the risk of a cancellation. Then added a further 5 guests with 1 hours notice. The staff took this all in their stride and catered for us. The food was all served together and there wasn't a single error or complaint. I've personally eaten a lot of pizza across europe over the years and the one I had was certainly in the top 3. Excellent! An excellent evening was had by all. 5 Stars Alex, the Landlady, you are a legend!

First time eating at the dixie Arms and I must say we had a lovely meal and pudding. My daughter also had dairy allergy and the chef went out his way to get my daughter some soya milk and cooked her up some pancakes also My daughter who is super fussy he made her plain pasta with cheese. Honestly went above and beyond. All staff was lovely and welcoming too. Thankyou Kid-friendliness: Yes welcome our children lovely! Although I think maybe some colour crayons paper for them to keep occupied.
