We booked a table for brunch time, and asked to return in 5 mins if we wanted a better table. Which we did. We were seated, but at no point were we advised that... read more We booked a table for brunch time, and asked to return in 5 mins if we wanted a better table. Which we did. We were seated, but at no point were we advised that the cafe had ran out of certain items off the menu. When the waitress came to take our order, we both ordered French toast, to which the waitress said they’d ran out. So we started to take another look at the menu and the waitress then mentioned they’d run out of eggs. With an already limited menu, basically all we could have was a croissant? A cafe to run out of French toast or eggs seems strange. I feel this should’ve been explained before we were seated as it would’ve saved us time and embarrassment of having to leave.
