Highly recommended by locals! Despite its worn-out appearance from the outside and being tucked away at the end of the road, this hidden gem should not be overlooked. What RobbieP9 doesn't like about Paddy's Marten Dhaba:
Staff were attentive and took drinks order quickly. Comprehensive menu, probably too much choice. Long wait for the starters to arrive even though the pub was not very busy. However it did get busy during the evening and was quite noisy, the loud music didn’t help. This restaurant is a wonderful old English-style pub with delicious Indian cuisine. The bar serves great drinks as well. It can get quite crowded, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere.
I have dined at this restaurant several times now, and it is fantastic. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a pub from the 80s, with dark wooden tables and chairs, aged walls covered in classic Indian movie pictures, and B4U Music playing on the TV. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a lively buzz when busy. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced (expect around £20 per person for drinks, a starter, and a main course). The prawn starter and Jeera Wings are standout dishes. The food is cooked to a quality that surpasses any other Indian restaurant I have tried - not oily, generous portions, and bursting with flavor. The service is friendly and laid-back.

There are definitely better curry houses in Leicester.
Mid week meal out with friends to catch up. Really friendly and attentive service. Food was very tasty, served hot a fresh. I had the fish tawa which was lovely, came with naan and rice £15.95 Definitely return
