Just walked in 12/29 at 4:15 after ordering online and upon entering the store, I was informed by an employee that the store was out of the bread I chose and I had responded with “that’s okay! I will eat the other bread. Thank you” and another male worker walked up immediately and assertively said “I know” and instructed me to hold the bag differently. I understand they were attempting to help by reassuring me I was getting whatever bread they had, not what I ordered, and that he did not want me to rip the bag by holding it by the handle, however, it was unnecessary and rude to speak down to customers in this way. We did not respond in any negative or disrespectful way so I’m unsure the reason for this combativeness immediately. It would have been more appropriate of the male employee to inform us of the change and apologize or empathize rather than immediately inform us we would get what they had rather than what we ordered. I’ll drive to another location in the future. The sandwiches are too expensive for customers to be treated badly. The store was not busy at all at this time.
Great subs and the guy working the counter by himself that night was very fast and had a awesome sense of humor.
The young man behind the counter was extremely rude, he wouldn't communicate at all and just stared at me when I asked for my sandwich. I won't be back just because of his horrible attitude. What made it worse was he was extremely friendly to a woman ahead of me, but I guess I have to be a woman to get minimal service.
