What mlgreenwood1 doesn't like about Opposite Cafe:
So I'm probably being stupidly fussy, but if I order posh cheese on toast, or as was advertised a croque monsieur, I'm expecting it toasted through so all the cheese melts and certainly no cream cheese blobbed into the bottom of it. This charming café offers delicious, high-quality food and delicious coffee. The flat whites may be on the smaller side, but they are very tasty. The only drawback is that they do not provide order references for the food, which resulted in one of our group members having their order mistakenly taken by another customer, causing a long wait.

Leeds has the best coffee and hot chocolate at this restaurant.
Located across from the Parkinson Steps at Leeds University, this cafe is quite popular among students and locals alike. The coffee is of high quality, the service is friendly, and it's a bustling spot that can get quite crowded at times.
I decided to try this restaurant for a light lunch based on my daughter's recommendation. She heard from her student friends that it was a nice place to eat. I also enjoyed the food and found the prices reasonable, although it may be a bit expensive for students or those on a tight budget. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely consider coming back in the future.
