Really beautiful ingredients spoiled by a swamp of overwhelming, MSG heavy sauces. Char siu was burnt, leaving a horrible after taste of carbon. Black cod had a beautiful texture and was well cooked, but ruined by a sauce that was overpowering with ginger. Rice and noodles, drowned in MSG. Wagyu over cooked. Scallops, gritty. Tuna was lovely, shittake dumpling was divine but I'm going to be honest, no better than significantly cheaper alternatives. I left with a full belly, but a mouth drier than the Atacama desert and a feeling of overwhelming disappointment.
