What Pierre Delay doesn't like about Hotel Chocolat, Roast + Conch:
The welcoming was good. Food took a while to be on the table especially that it was a quiet evening, it tasted okay, but portions were tiny. I had seabass with spinach and chocolate fondant and was still hungry not greedy. Overall not bad, not great, with a rather average customer service due to repeated mistakes on the bill. We enjoyed our position in the restaurant, sat by the window. Our waitress was lovely. She was very helpful with suggestions from the menu. We loved the great choice of rums. The food was tasty and different. I thought the prices are above the norm, but was prepared to pay this as was for a special occasion. View all feedback.

read moreLocated in Leeds City Centre, this restaurant might not be the most popular spot in town, but it certainly has its highlights. While the portion sizes left some customers still feeling hungry, the quality and taste of the food received high praise. The menu offers vegan choices, although some mix-ups with orders like missing elements on dishes were noted. The service, however, was a bit of a let-down with mistakes in the bill and mix-ups with orders, which was surprising given the low customer turnout during the visit. On the bright side, the friendly waitress and tasty food, along with a lovely dining experience for a special occasion, left a positive impression. While not without its flaws, this restaurant seems to have the potential for improvement to truly shine in the Leeds dining scene.
Trinity has brought us many new eateries, and this one was on my list from the moment I'd heard it was coming.
Popped in here after a christmas shopping trip with my daughter.
PoorThe food seemed to have chocolate added to meet the theme, not improve the taste.
